Washington, DC – Today the Postal Regulatory Commission released its advisory opinion on a Postal Service plan to revise the critical entry times (CETs) for some categories of Periodicals mail. The CET is the latest time a mailpiece may be tendered to the Postal Service and still have the day count when measuring that mail’s service performance. (Docket No. N2022-2).

Washington, DC - The Postal Regulatory Commission has become aware of the recent arrest of one of our employees. Upon becoming aware of this information, the Commission has terminated this employee effective immediately. The Commission is shocked and horrified at these serious allegations and maintains a steadfast commitment to promptly deal with any claims of employee misconduct.

Washington, DC – Today, the Postal Regulatory Commission issued its advisory opinion on the Postal Service’s proposal to change service standards for Retail Ground (RG) and Parcel Select Ground (PSG). (Docket No. N2022-1). The Postal Service’s proposal would upgrade the service standards for RG and PSG from its current 2 to 8-day standard to a 2 to 5-day standard. 39 U.S.C.
