PRC REVISES PROPOSALS IN SECOND RULEMAKING TO MODIFY THE RATE SYSTEM FOR CLASSES OF MARKET DOMINANT PRODUCTS: Order clarifies components of previous proposal
Washington, DC –Today, the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued a revised notice of proposed rulemaking aimed at modifying the system for regulating rates and classes for Market Dominant products. This revised rulemaking takes into consideration comments received after the first rulemaking in December 2017, and further consideration by the Commission.

PRC Selects Jennifer Alvarez Warburton to Lead its Office of Public Affairs and Government Relations
Washington, DC –The Postal Regulatory Commission is appointing Jennifer Alvarez Warburton as the agency’s director of public affairs and government relations, effective October 15, 2019. Ms. Warburton brings more than two decades of postal and legislative expertise to the Commission. Washington, DC – In a unanimous decision, the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission) voted to designate Commissioner Michael M. Kubayanda Vice Chairman of the Commission for the remainder of the 2019 calendar year and the full 2020 calendar year. Title 39 of the United States Code Section 502 (e) provides that “The Commissioners shall by majority vote designate a Vice Chairman of the Commission.

Washington, DC – Ann C. Fisher (R) and Ashley E. Poling (D) were confirmed by the Senate and begin their first term as commissioners of the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission). President Donald J. Trump nominated Fisher and Poling for terms that extend through 2024.
Ms. Fisher and Ms. Poling assume their roles at a critical time, as the Commission is currently involved in a major review of the system for setting Market Dominant rates.

PRC Assess USPS Pricing and Service in 2018 Annual Compliance Determination: Directs Postal Service to Address a Number of Outstanding Compliance Issues
Washington, DC – Today the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued its Annual Compliance Determination (ACD) assessing the pricing and service performance standards of the U.S. Postal Service (Postal Service) in fiscal year 2018. This ACD marks the 11th Compliance Determination issued since the enactment of the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006.
