2011 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey
During February and March of 2011, the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) participated in the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), a tool that measures employees' perceptions of whether, and to what extent, conditions that characterize successful organizations are present in their agencies.
We are extremely proud that our response rate of 80% this year is an improvement over our response rate of 75% for 2010 and the 2011 government-wide response rate of 49%.
The Commission found the results from the survey to be very encouraging. The survey revealed that:
- 96% agree that they are willing to put in the extra effort to get a job done
- 92% rate the overall quality of work done by their unit as very good/good.
- 92% believe our agency is successful in accomplishing its mission
- 89% believe their work is important
- 84% would recommend the PRC as a good place to work.
The attached file shows the results of the 2011 survey. As comparative benchmarks, this trend report also shows the 2011 Government wide survey results.
