Operating Structure

PR: represents the interests of the general public in each specific case and acts independently of the Commission.

Attorney Administrator: coordinates PRs and provides ongoing assistance to help ensure the general public’s interests are accurately represented by the PRs. The Attorney Administrator is a member of the Office of General Counsel.

General Counsel & Director of Accountability and Compliance: recommends staff, based on expertise, postal knowledge, and workload, to serve as PRs.

Chairman: selects the PR (subject to approval by the Commission) and determines the overall effectiveness of the PR Program.
